The 2014 Hope du Jour is the most successful ever, with over $34,800 being raised by local restaurants. Five restaurants were recently honored by Crisis Control Ministry for their support of Hope du Jour.

Village Tavern, Hanes Mall Blvd.,  received the award for the eighth consecutive time for Most Money Raised – $1,549.06

Pane e Vino, received the award for the Largest Percentage Increase over 2013 – 189%.

Ryan’s Restaurant received the award for Largest Donation Increase over 2013 – $400.00.

Milner Brothers, Clemmons, received the award for Most Money Raised by a First-time Participant – $317.42.

Chef Dion Sprenkle, Lexington, received the award for Best Additional Promotion of Hope du Jour.

Awards were presented by Crisis Control Ministry staff and volunteers. The 25th annual Hope du Jour will be held on May 5, 2015.  A list of current participating restaurants can be found at www.hopedujour.org.
