Now that we know who our elected officials will be, we will finish our 2025 Legislative Agenda. As always, we invite you to provide feedback on behalf of your organizations for items to be considered. We welcome the addition of new items that fit these goals. We will present our Legislative Agenda to our Federal, State, and Local elected officials in 2025, helping to shape policy decisions that directly impact our community.
Provide Your Input
The public policy committee will review all submitted ideas, finalize a draft, and present the Legislative Agenda to the Greater Winston-Salem Inc. Board of Directors for final approval at the top of the year. We will release this document to the public at our Legislative Breakfast in February.
The GWSI Legislative Agenda is based on our Guiding Principles which have been approved by our board. Our Guiding Principles are our compass for our advocacy initiatives. Many of these are long-term goals that align with our 2030 plans; therefore, they roll over year-over-year.
Our members are our priority. Your leadership and insights are invaluable to us as we work to advocate for the needs and opportunities of our area. Thank you for your ongoing dedication to the growth and success of Winston Salem/Forsyth County.
