Senate Passes Relief Bill
The Senate has approved a historic $2 trillion-dollar relief bill. On Friday, the bill will go to the House for a vote. President Trump plans to sign the measure once it makes it to his desk. The plan will deliver a much-needed injection of financial aid into an American economy that has been plagued by job loss as a result of COVID-19. The unprecedented provisions will help impacted American workers and families as well as small businesses, self-employed individuals, healthcare agencies, and major industries impacted by the pandemic. This is the largest economic relief bill in U.S. history. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
EDPNC Resources for Manufacturers
The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) has provided resources for manufacturers and producers of medical equipment and supplies and for manufacturers who may be able to pivot operations in order to manufacture personal protective equipment.
City of Winston-Salem Stay-at-Home FAQs
City of Winston-Salem residents are being asked to stay at home starting on Friday morning to curb the spread of Covid 19. Essential travel such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, and working in essential industries, is permitted. The order is in place until April 16.
