2020 has brought many updates to economic development initiatives in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. In addition to the Chamber and WSBI’s upcoming combination, initiatives such as advancing entrepreneurialism and expanding internship opportunities for high schoolers are also shaping our future economic progress.
At the State of the Economy, we will provide an overview of our economy so far in 2020 and take a look ahead at where these and other projects are going in the future.
We will welcome Dariel Curren and Patience Fairbrother of Development Counselors International to provide an overview of the placemaking branding and strategy that has informed the creation of Greater Winston-Salem, Inc.
The agenda will also include an economic update by Mark Owens, President and CEO of Greater Winston-Salem, Inc.
The State of the Economy event is presented by our title sponsor, BB&T Now Truist.
