Survey feedback is needed from households with children aged 0-7 in Forsyth County.
The Pre-K Priority, a community initiative that’s examining the expansion of Pre-K programs in Forsyth County, is seeking parent and caregiver feedback as an important aspect of the initiative’s next steps. Launched in 2014, the Pre-K Priority is housed at Family Services and supported by the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust. A coalition of community organizations has participated in the research and development of the project. The Parent/Caregiver Survey is administered by Forsyth Futures.
The Pre-K Priority advocates for improving and enriching educational programs for young children, using evidence-based data that finds benefits for children, families, the community, and the economy. Currently, 33% of four-year-olds in Forsyth County are enrolled in high-quality Pre-K programs.
The Parent/Caregiver Survey seeks to gather information from Forsyth County parents of children aged 0-7 about general experiences, perceptions, needs, and what they hope to see in the Pre-K/preschool early education system. The survey is open through late October 2019.
