A recent finalist in the Launch Challenge business startup program is getting ready to celebrate a big day. KaySandra Best participated in the Forsyth Tech Small Business Center’s Launch Challenge this Spring. On Friday, July 19th,she will have a Ribbon Cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of her salon, Best You by KaySandra.

KaySandra specializes in non-surgical hair restoration. She has been a licensed professional stylist for over 20 years and is experienced in hair loss and thinning solutions as well as traditional salon services.

KaySandra’s passion for helping people through hair styling began as a child, and now she is taking the next step of opening her own salon.

“Helping people with their hair has always been a very essential component of my life, from the time my mother taught me how to braid my little cousin’s hair up until the present. I can remember the feeling that I felt watching her prance around, swinging her braids around like she was the most most beautiful girl in the world. That experience made me feel so proud that I had a hand in making her feel that way. When my clients smile the biggest smiles and cry the happiest tears, and when I receive the most genuine hugs, that is the most gratifying feeling in the world to me. I absolutely love what I do!” KaySandra says.
