Entrepalooza, a two-day conference hosted by Wake Forest University’s Center for Entrepreneurship, will be held April 4 and 5.
Events are free and open to the public.
Diana Kander, innovation catalyst and author of the New York Times bestseller, “All in Startup,” will deliver Entrepalooza’s keynote speech on Thursday, April 4 in Brendle Recital Hall at 5:30 p.m. Her book has been used in more than 70 colleges and universities to teach innovation and entrepreneurship. Her most recent book, “The Curiosity Muscle,” was published in July 2018.

Scales Fine Arts Center/Brendle Recital Hall
Startup Lab Demo Day and Diana Kander Keynote Speech: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Student teams will pitch their startups to an audience of entrepreneurs, investors, students, faculty and staff in Brendle Recital Hall. Startup displays will be set up in the lobby before and after the presentations. Students will be available to talk about their concepts.
Student presentations will include: Milou Hair founder Yasmine Khosrowshahi, who will be showcasing Broo, a hair care product that combines a hairbrush with a dry shampoo in one product. Another team, Decemii, will be presenting their formaldehyde free, hypoallergenic shin guards. The company was founded by former Division 1 field hockey players Brit Dickinson and Veerle Bos. Crewz will be presenting their car repair kit that empowers you to fix your car, yourself, on your time.
Friday, April 5
Miller Center/Rovere Room
Deac Tank: From 8:45 to 10 a.m. Students will pitch their ideas in front of judges for monetary prizes.
Ethics and Character in Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
