Trey Blackwood and Jordon Edwards

Greater Winston-Salem Inc. (GWSI), recently named ACCE National Chamber of the Year, is excited to welcome two new team members who have joined our efforts to achieve our 2030 Vision: to be the best mid-sized city in the Southeast, to be a more equitable community, and to be the best place to raise a family. Trey Blackwood joins GWSI as Economic Development Associate and Jordon Edwards is Member Development Specialist.

As Economic Development Associate, Trey will support initiatives to recruit, retain, and expand businesses within Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. His role includes key functions such as real estate analysis, client relations, and economic research. With a background in public administration and experience in town management and project development, Trey brings expertise in regional planning and operational support. In his role, he will contribute to site location projects and conduct research to support business and industry growth.

Jordon Edwards joins GWSI as the Member Development Specialist, a role in which she’ll collaborate with businesses across the community to convey the benefits of chamber membership, help members maximize benefits, and deliver other business support. With a background in community engagement, economic development, and event management, Jordon brings talent and experience in building relationships and executing strategic outreach initiatives. Her responsibilities include managing a prospective member pipeline, assisting members, and meeting with local businesses to determine their needs.
