Chambers of Commerce representing thousands of businesses across North Carolina congratulate those elected to the N.C. General Assembly on Tuesday.
Greater Winston-Salem Inc., along with the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, Durham Chamber of Commerce, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, N.C. Chamber, and Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, representing businesses of every size and sector across the state, look forward to working with our newly elected officials to maintain and advance a competitive business climate that grows private-sector jobs as outlined in our individual chambers’ policy agendas.
Collectively, our chambers represent a broad-based business community that recognizes our state’s history of addressing complex, sensitive, and controversial issues at the municipal, county, state and federal levels. Earlier this year, North Carolina was named the # 1 State for Business for the first time by CNBC, in part because state leaders committed to putting aside their political divisions to focus on boosting business and the economy. We must remain focused on maintaining North Carolina’s position in private sector job growth and that our leaders guide our state with balance, decorum, respect, and trust.
Participating Chambers:
Kit Cramer, Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce
Janet LaBar, Charlotte Regional Business Alliance
Geoff Durham, Durham Chamber of Commerce
