The City of Winston-Salem’s Office of Business Inclusion and Advancement is ready to kick off the 2020 Business Plan Contest!
Eligible submissions must be for for-profit micro-businesses with 5 employees or fewer which are located within the NRSA (Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area) (PDF).
Two winners will receive a $5,000 grant for startup costs and a $5,000 potential matching micro-loan.
A kickoff meeting will be held Thursday, February 20th, at 6:00 pm in the 2nd Floor Committee Room of the City Hall Building located at 101 North Main Street in Downtown Winston-Salem.
This meeting will go over the participation requirements for the contest including submission dates and rules as well as the process of how the winner will be selected.
