For over 30 years, the Bethesda Center has worked collaboratively in Winston-Salem to provide shelter for homeless men and women. On November 15th, 2017, the Bethesda Center hosts its 5th annual Heroes for the Homeless Awards Breakfast to honor community members who have donated their time in support of the Center’s mission to reduce homelessness.
This year, the following organizations and individuals will be honored:
Chuck Spong: Stimp Hawkins Visionary Award
Cheryl Lindsay: Helen Kennedy Leadership Award
Main Street United Methodist Church: John Canupp Community Outreach Award
J. Jeffery Raborn: Phoebe Satterwhite Volunteer Award
Guy & Marie Arcuri: Humanitarian Award
Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton, LLP: President’s Award
The event features keynote speaker Marc Schaefer, President and CEO of Truliant Federal Credit Union, a WS Chamber member organization.
The Heroes for the Homeless Awards Breakfast will be held at Bridger Field House at BB&T Field.
