Dr. John McConnell, CEO of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center
February 11

presented by Cook Medical

Dr. McConnell presented “Bench to Bedside: The Impact of Academic Medicine” at the Chamber’s 2010 Tech Council Speaker Series on Thursday, February 11 at 9:00 a.m. at the Piedmont Triad Research Park (115 S. Chestnut Street).

Dr. McConnell, who has just led the Medical Center through a comprehensive strategic planning process, shared Wake Forest Baptist’s vision for the future--especially in terms of its research and technology enterprise--and what that can mean in terms of local and regional economic development.
